I doubt we will ever return here. I had high hopes, but this place ended up to be pretty rough. I ordered crab legs and they came out cold. I rarely send anything back, but did in this case. They came back slightly warm. Bleh. My husband had oysters. Quite a few of those were warmer than what would seem safe to eat. We also had caesar salads, which were legitimately terrible - how do you mess up a salad?! We weren't drinking that evening, but the ladies at the table behind us tried to order three different drinks and were told all three times that the bar was out of what they wanted. Two stars because the view was beautiful, our waiter was friendly and hardworking, and, to our surprise, we didn't end up with food poisoning.

Sharky's is known as one of the staples of PCB. It's one of many beachfront restaurants that thrives due to it's location, however not renowned for it's quality of food. In short, Sharky's will give you a great view while dining on the beach, but it comes with a price: a loud low-quality atmosphere (plastic tables), a live band, paying $10-$20 per person and lots of drunk people around. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, or a place it's safe to bring the family--then Sharky's is not the place for you. If you arrive by automobile, you'll most likely find yourself parking across the street in their private lot. When entering you'll hear loud music and see dozens of intoxicated beach-goers buzzing around the restaurant who eventually to return to their hive, the bar--which is loudly swarming with potent drinks and lively people. Most of the tables one can be seated in are plastic, decorated as if they were made out of wood. Your waiter will quickly appear and take your drink order, then return with your drinks served in plastic cups reminiscent of a college keg party. While perusing the menu you'll notice that most of their entrees are deep fried and cost between $10-20 a person. When your food order arrives, you probably won't be too disappointed, but you definitely won't be impressed. You will pay at your table. They advertise American Express is accepted at Sharky's, however our perfectly good American Express card was declined....so we paid via cash. I have to admit when I left I wasn't disappointed in Sharky's, but I was definitely happy to leave.

Fun, good food, beach view and playground for the kids!

good ol pcb. many a years spring breaks when we didn't care how the food or beer tasted as long as it was cheap, both in quality and price. sharky's cont's to live up to the standard. good place to go for spring breakers (i assume they still do go to pcb...it's been 15 years since i've been back), but not for more refined seafood farers. our raw oysters were so tastless and small, it was sad. i know they can't help it, but our waitress said the shipment they got in that morning were really good. jeez...if that was good, i'd hate to see bad. but we ate them all, so i guess i shouldn't be too upset. anyway, cheap beer.....

After eating at Margaritiville at the Pier, on the next night out we ate at Sharky's. The venue is good but the raised bench seats are very uncomfortable. We actually moved. The food was just above average but there was sticker shock especially from just coming from feeding 8 at Magaritiville at the Pier. I expected the bill to be close but under the price at the the better venue. I actually commented at the expense. In the end, if you have to choose, goto Magaritiville.

3 stars for the location, 1 star for everything else.

The service started off slowly but once we got a server we were off to the races. I had the seafood gumbo a couple of days earlier and loved it so I suggested it to my family. They all ordered it to and all loved it too! Great place to be right on the beach and the drinks were good too. I recommend Sharky's and highly recommend the Seafood Gumbo!

  • Kay R.

Good food, ample drinks, excellent service-especially for a large group. I had the seafood platter which is slightly different than the typical platter. Excellent oysters, shrimp and fish - the little crab claws weren't really to my liking, but that is only personal preference.

My family and I stopped in here back in 2006 and we liked it. The food was great, the price wasn't bad, the service was good and it was nice eating out on the deck on the beach! They had a live band playing and that was very relaxing! The drinks are good here and we had a great time! There is so many places to try in PCB, but I would make a stop here again!

Cool hangout spot. Food is crap though. Ordered fish tacos and they were all cheese. Who puts cheese on fish tacos? Over all it's ok.

BEWARE!!! Whatever you do, DO NOT use a debit/credit card at the bar!!! I am a local, have gone to Sharky's many many times, spent many of my summers behind them at the beach and regularly used my card to order drinks and food to take down to the beach. Well, a little over a month ago, the bartender kept my tab open, that I closed, and continue to charge drinks for other people to it. The receipt I have, that I kept when I closed out was printed at an earlier time than the receipt they have, with the same receipt number and my same card number, but a person I do not know tipped on MY card and signed for MY card. Well, it overdrafted my account and caused me over $100 in fees, not including what they overcharged me. When I called to talk to them about it, the first response was along the lines of, we can see it was a mistake on our end, but we cannot help you and you need to go through your bank. I spent a week going back and forth between the bank and Sharkys (had to use some of my PTO to deal with this, that costs me money too!!) and at the end of the week, with no reasoning of why this happened, they just refunded only what was overcharged, never found the receipt that I signed to close my tab, and only offered me a $50 gift certificate to Sharky's "for my troubles". Oh...and the bartender who did it?? Still works there! They have some ridiculous customer service issues. Make sure to either take cash, keep your receipts and check your account, or just save yourself the hassle and avoid it all together!! They have lost my business altogether. I will NEVER recommend them, or their sister restaurants Hammer Head Fred's & Runaway Island.

Great burgers, amazing spot on the beach, friendly service, and reasonable prices. This is definitely a place that I would recommend to anyone looking for a laidback place to get a bite to eat and enjoy the beach in one stop!

  • Rick F.

I travel to PCB 3-4 times a year. The last 3 times I've been to Sharky's were not very good. While sitting at the bar, 2 different waitresses came back with mixed drinks saying the customer said they were watered down. The food and drinks are over-priced. I have sent the gumbo back 2 different times. They didn't have tea at the bar so I got a Coke. It, too, was watered down right out of the vavle. I'm not going back. There are lots of other great restaurants around.

Service was excellent but food was "fair to middlin'." Have perceived many people going in/out and assumed food was out of this world. Perhaps we just hit it on an off night.

I can't believe I'm about to write a review for this place--but I am. On the way out of Florida we stopped here for one last meal, but we didn't end up eating here. We totally should have known not to stop here, but we weren't thinking straight considering the sun had gone to our heads. We walked in and walked right back out because the place smells like complete VOMIT and OLD BEER as soon as you walk up! Sooooo disgusting, how can anyone in their right mind actually walk up to a place like this and still have an appetite?!? The floor is all boardwalk-style wood, which means that every time some 16-year-old pukes in here, it just goes down into the cracks and never really goes away. The REALLY funny thing is that they serve breakfast...great, so the teenagers just finished puking here at 3 AM and now you're going to serve breakfast...omg.

A decent place to look at the water and sit outside. Yes, we did get the fish tacos. They were good and a bit and the spicy side, that is fine with me. If you have a chance get the shark bites--pretty good. Staff is friendly and hey, it is outside--have fun..

    (3)
  • Chris H.

Food was quite good. We had the jerk shrimp and it wad very tasty though could have used less spice. Daughter had the fried fish of the day and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Little one had the kid's pasta with Alfredo sauce and while she did not like it, I thought it was very good. Highly recommend the shrimp bruschetta appetizer. Atmosphere is what you would expect on the beach. A Sunday night in October and the crowd was pretty tame, no problem bringing kids here. Our waitress Sam was very attentive and friendly. Will probably go back this trip.

    (4)
  • Candy L.

Terry is an awesome server! She really catered to us and encouraged the true Spring Break experience! There is amazing view of the beach and a great party on the beach at night! The grouper sandwich is something to try blackened, fried, or grilled.

    (4)
  • M M.

We go to this place every winter just for the view and the fact that they have a playground for kids. It is one of not many restaurants that is opened off season and is directly on the beach. After a few visits, my conclusion: get either kid fried shrimp, fried fish basket, or fish tacos, but don't expect much and prepare to pay.

Came to Sharky's the first night in PC Beach. Our waiter was extremely helpful, the food was a little overpriced but was good. My husband and I shared the sampler platter.

Love it! We are on vacation and was looking for a place on the water for lunch. Loved the lunch specials they had for only eight dollars! Will be back on our next visit!

The food is just OK but you are mostly paying for the atmosphere. Great fries and very good service. I would go back.

    (4)
  • Shane S.

Mahi was good sauce was great and the view was the best. Just after spring break so crowds were manageable. Cant imagine the people there during the spring break rush sure it would be fun if i was just a few years younger.

We ate here last night and loved it. This is one of our PCB stops every year. It was excellent. My wife had Chicken Fingers. She said they were just average. The "Jumbo" Shrimp were very small and nothing close to Jumbo but the shrimp was good. Just don't expect to get Jumbo Shrimp. I had the blackened Grouper and it was FANTASTIC! We'll be back. Service was lacking though.

    (3)
  • Mauro D.

Banging food and drinks! A little long on the wait times for service, but still a great place to enjoy a cold drink and enjoy the great views!

  • Simone C.

First place we ate on the beach. Grouper was good and also the fish tacos were good.

    (3)
  • Amanda H.

Better for fun than food! The food here was disappointing! The bar and entertainment in the middle of the facility was a great hangout and had a nice access to the beach. I ordered the 1lb snow crab legs, chicken fingers, and baby bakers (small bouncy ball to golf ball sized potatoes) to share. My mother and father ordered the sirloin steak. Crab legs: Overcooked which makes it even harder to eat than normal Chicken fingers: Pretty tasty Baby bakers: Good, but a baked potato would have been easier to eat and more satisfying Sirloin steak: One steak was horribly tough and chewy (was refunded by management) the other was just OK. Overall, I would come during the day to start a volleyball game and have a drink or share an appetizer. I would also meet with friends to mingle and have a drink (around $7 or more for a mixed drink) a little before going out to dance. I would not eat a main meal here because of the higher prices and lower quality food.

This was my first time to Sharky's in many years so I don't really remember what I had when I went here before. Overall the food was good - I had the seafood platter - portions were huge this was enough for 2 people. My husband had grilled shrimp alfredo and again, good portion size for the price. Service was ok - we saw our waiter all the time until our food came and I needed cocktail sauce and - you guessed it - he was no where to be found! My husband was almost finished eating by the time I finally got my cocktail sauce. Also, if you go between 4:00-6:00 make sure you asked to be seated on the left side of the bar - we were closest to the playground and by the time we were finished the sun was scorching us right in our faces.

    (3)
  • Jeff R.

First off let me say that this was one of the best views of the beach. The service was grade a and the atmosphere was good. The reason for the three stars is their lack of menu. The selection is just not that vast, especially the seafood selection. The food menu is about two pages and it left me looking for more. However the raw oysters and the fish tacos are great!

  • Shawn S.

Sharky's is a great family owned business! I have been going here since I was a kid for classic fried seafood in one of the best settings on Panama City Beach!

    (4)
  • Amy T.

We love Sharky's! Open air bar and dining, friendly servers and good food - yes, please! They even had karaoke when we were there. It was so bad that it was good.

    (5)
  • Matt P.

Quite possibly the most horrible dining experience I have ever had. Food was terrible, service was lousy. Definitely recommend one to look elsewhere. Oddly enough, Hammerhead Fred's is owned by the same people but had pretty good food and service.

  • Pam J.

This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIABLE!! The food is frozen and not fresh at all!! It's snapper season and they told us the fresh catch is trigger fish? Ummmmm really! Don't bother going tourist trap

    (1)
  • Suzanne W.

The lunch was average but since our hotel was across the street we went back for new years eve dinner.. What a difference! We had a loaded nacho appetizer that was covered with chili, cheese, sour cream, etc. Perfect for 4 of us to snack on. I had a half pound of snow crab legs.. The 2 fellas had grouper with a crab imperial sauce- super tasty and rich. We also ordered cocktails that were perfectly mixed. Service was fast and really friendly! While I'd skip their lunch I wouldn't miss their dinner options.

    (4)
  • Chad C.

The service was up to par and most of our food was good (not great) but I can't get past two things. When we arrived, the hostess made a rude comment towards what I was wearing (apparently she isn't a fan of the college football team on my shirt) and the 12 oz sirloin with Gorgonzola butter tasted like it had no Gorgonzola butter on it and it was EXTREMELY overcooked. I asked for medium and there wasn't a shade of pink in the whole steak. I would call it extra well done. One side was mostly burnt. We won't be going back.

  • Marc L.

Location was great, but food was just so so. Most of the food tasted like it was canned. I has gumbo which was meaty but had a canned flavor for some reason. I also had the mahi sandwich and it was bland, spinnaker was much better. My wife had some kind of seafood pasta with cream sauce and it was pretty good but not great. I would say to skip this place for the price.

Ate here twice this weekend - but the second time was hoping for something better and got something worse. The location is great - it's a good place to go with kids during the day and it's good for drinking at night if you don't mind the string of mediocre bands they book. The food is completely underwhelming. Low quality. The first time we went, I couldn't really eat my fried oysters. They were too terrible. The fries and the baby potatoes were alright and my husband's fried shrimp was ok but the crab/lobster cakes sucked and came in a bland, watery sauce. But we were on the beach and they kept the alcohol coming - so that made it tolerable. (Beers were overpriced but the Patron shots seemed huge) The second time was late night and we got take out. I called the order in - they said I should pick it up in 15 minutes. I came in 20 minutes later and went into the gift shop to pick it up, as they suggested. Two employees sitting at a table looked up and then looked back down, ignoring us - then another employee - then another. So FOUR employees are gathered around a table completely ignoring us when a manager walked out of the kitchen and basically told them to go do their jobs and asked me if I had been helped. Worst service ever. It wasn't done when they said it would be so we waited for quite a while and even though I confirmed burger toppings multiple times on the phone, they forgot cheese on my burger and gave us one burger with absolutely nothing on it. No lettuce, no tomato, no cheese, no pickles, NOTHING. I asked for extra ketchup in the bag, since we had none in the condo and we ended up with 6 giant packets of mayo (WHY?!), a TON of relish, and not nearly enough ketchup for everyone. It's my own fault. I tend to rent across from this place and every year give it another chance and it is always disappointing. It's ok for drinking but dining should be avoided, for the most part. Maybe next time I'll finally have learned my lesson and steer clear, despite the location and convenience.

Beachfront dining. The seafood was good. Wait staff was wonderful--even brought to the attention of our kids a school of dolphins swimming past. I love to eat where you can see and hear the waves crashing on the beach! We had a great meal and would definitely eat here again.

  • Bill W.

Ate here for dinner. Service and food were both just ok. I guess I expected better.

Another seasonal tourist trap. Food is pretty terrible. If you're going for the view, please know that it's all you'll be paying for, so don't expect too much in terms of food. Avoid

Great food and great drink specials. You can get a lot of good seafood for under 20 dollars. Oysters were also delicious. Friendly staff and would love to go back next spring break. Sharky's has bite!

Shockingly abysmal. Horrific food. They served warm beer. It was actually warm! Avoid at all costs! 0

If you want the quintessential lunch beachfront restaurant experience, this is it. All tables outside on a deck with fabulous people watching opportunities. Friendly, attentive service from Stacie. The Firecracker Shrimp Salad was good even if the blue cheese dressing was a pre-made institutional variety. My wife said the gumbo was three stars. The burgers that passed by us en route to other tables look great.

    (4)
  • David F.

Great spot on the beach. Prices were what's expected on the beach but not terrible. 17.99 for Jumbo shrimp dinner. Added the 1/2 pound crab legs for 8.99 for my wife and we got out pretty cheap. Atmosphere was what you'd expect for a seafood place on the beach. Nautical beach theme. Server was attentive and personable. Would definitely eat here again.

Personally, I only liked this place the first night when I hadn't been anywhere else in the area. It's a nice big Tiki bar, which they push everywhere, but gets old quickly. Friends seemed to disagree, as they'd be excited to return every night since it was right across the street. Not into flying solo to bars when everyone else is still in the room, but to each their own. The bar itself is a decent time if you've had enough to imbibe.

  • Elizabeth D.

I really don't know why our guide book suggested we go here and I wish I had checked Yelp before. My mom called it "coney island cheapo with high prices" the food was ok, but certainly not worth the long drive from the state park or the expensive prices. Also the water tasted like dirt (as usual in panama city) and there were no other options than to drink it...or to drink beer, which seems to be the "new" water in Panama City. Tourist trap, but nice view of the beach from the table.

    (3)
  • Kellie G.

Let me start off by saying our visit to Sharkys was not in the peak season, so this review may be different if you visit here during Spring Break. We really like Sharkys- Good food, cold beer, prices were not bad for such an gorgeous view and they had a great kids play area. We will be back.

    (4)
  • Scott M.

This place certainly must get by on it's location. It certainly doesn't make a splash with it's food. When in a tourist location, we usually expect food to be overpriced and low quality, but this was a $70 meal that included kids meals that the kids wouldn't eat, fried dishes that were nothing remarkable, and even tarter sauce that came in a little "Ken's salad dressing" tub. I mean, if you are a seafood place, at least pretend to make things from scratch. If you are looking for seafood, you can certainly do far better than this. We won't be back.

    (1)
  • Erin L.

The atmosphere is pretty cool - beautiful view of the ocean with a "beach bum" feel with very cool custom tables & stools. I liked the nightlife. Unfortunately, the food is just edible.

    (3)
  • Lauren D.

Sharky's has a great atmosphere with a playground outback on the beach for the kids. I thought the food was incredible as well! they had a variety of food, with other items besides seafood. They also have a cute little gift shop with some cute shirts...but i must tell you i'm a sucker for t-shirts! And the coolest part about Sharky's is their local cat...yes i said cat. He's a little orange cat that walks around on the back deck. He'll visit tables, but never bothers you're food -- he stays on the ground. But it was so neat to see this cat just walking around! and he'll never complain if you give him a little bite of your fish!

Horrible excuse for seafood and service isn't anything to write home about either. Don't waste your time here. There are plenty of better options down the road.

Amazing view! Fun atmosphere and great drinks. Staff is casual and easy going, music is loud and service is good. Family atmosphere.

In two words FOOD POISONING. My family ate here a few nights ago after arriving late in PC. It was the only place open. My husband then suffered through an awful bout of food poisoning. What better way to spend your vacation than violently sick for 36 hours. If your hungry, buy the makings for a pbj at a quick stop! We wish we had.

    (1)
  • Scott S.

You will pay for the view because the food sure isn't worth it, the taste resembles fast food, and served on plastic plates. The shark bite appetizers were dry and taste like frozen fish nuggets. The fish was dry, the shrimp below average, the only bright spot was the guda grits. Even the cocktail sauce tasted like the plastic bottle it had been sitting in for who knows how long. Save your money and bring Captain Dees to the beach. Again, good atmosphere, but way below food quality for the high prices. Our family of 5 spent $140.with no alcohol, what a disappointment!

    (2)
  • Paul J.

In my opinion, this is the best Tiki bar on the beach in PCB and a great restaurant. Come for the view, stay for the fish tacos and the live music on the weekend. I come here at least once week after work. One of the "Must Visit" places if I have friends or family in for the weekend.

    (4)
  • Michelle A.

Sharky's was fine. We went after our trip to Gulf World. Our server was super and the view is beautiful. The food was middle of the road. The burger was just ok, the fried oyster were fine. My husband said that the raw oysters lacked flavor. We like Schooners better. So sorry Sharky's! We probably would not visit again.

    (2)
  • Brooke R.

The best place about here, the view! We went for lunch, the food was bland. Service was ok, not great. A kids meal was $12 for a handful of shrimp. The price is not worth it. We won't be back. $50 lunch worth about $20.

    (2)
  • Carrie I.

For the price I expected more. The fried platter was really overdone but my husband like his fish tacos. The location is outstanding.

    (3)
  • Kayla K.

Went here while vacationing and I have to say this is not a place for kids or for adults. There is trash all over the floor and the service will make you cringe. The waitress only ever came to our table once. The one time she did decide to come she acted as if she needed an attitude adjustment really bad. Never-the-less, we stayed just to try the food which was under cooked and cold. Never going back here ever again. Did I fail to mention people throwing up at the bar and no one cleaning it up?

    (1)
  • James S.

The worst. Bad tacos, bad wings, shit service. This place was the only really bad meal we had down here. Probably great for partying at night not definitely not for the food. Stay away.

Nice place to sit and drink, and the food was not bad. Good waiters.

Sharky's was so convenient! It literally was the restaurant right next to my hotel. Because it was Spring Break, it made the ambiance a little more exciting. When I went, there was a long line to get into their beach club. While dining indoors, I could tell that the beach party was poppin'. I ordered their blackened chicken and broccoli pasta. It was okay. However, their sauce was a little too bland and very watery. My friends, who arrived later for dinner, asked if they could try my dish and EVERY single one of them ordered the same thing I got. They were hooked. I've had my share of pastas in many restaurants, and this was not the best, but it wasn't bad either. Their beach balls are definitely something I tried here because it was an appetizer that was unusual to me. It was a fried ball with broccoli, corn, cheese, and other stuff that I forgot was in it. (I tried looking for the ingredients online and cannot find it.. must be new!) It was very interesting, but all those ingredients pretty much clashed to me and it wasn't that good. Service was not that great. She was an older lady and she didn't really care for our table and barely checked on us. Overall it was okay. Food was a bit too pricey for basic dishes. Definitely something I could have made myself. But if you're looking for the spot to be where the spring breakers are, this is the spot.

  • Nicholaus V.

Food was not the greatest and you better like bay seasoning on everything. The specialty drinks come in a souvenir mug that was filled with a drink mix with barely any alcohol in it.

2 part review: night scene and restaurant (Spring Break season) NIGHT SCENE This was my favorite night scene (compared to Fred's, Spinnaker's, and Sharky's) The cover was relatively cheaper to its competitors (ranging from $10-30) The drinks were strong and the service was quick (ranging from $5 shots to $12.50 mixed drinks). They even had nights with free shot sampling plus free T-shirts! The DJ was playing recent, good music, that was great to dance to. I loved that the dancefloor had a good mix of younger and 21+ people. Overall: My girlfriends and I went 3 out of the 6 nights we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our time because there was a full crowd yet it was pretty spacious. The price was great and we always enjoyed our time there! RESTAURANT The wait and service was long and especially weird since there were plenty of open spots at dinner. Bread is given upon request! The food was actually delicious and really affordable! Our table ordered the buffalo wings, cocktail shrimp, hawaiian chicken, fish tacos (a little bland), oyster dinner, and the burger. All of the dishes got got reviews! I was put off though by the lack of service.

I came to sharkys for clubbing, but to be honest if I can give zero stars I would. The club didn't have many people, drunk guys were the majority, and security favors some special violent guests. It's a disaster for people want to have fun in a club.

  • Rosalyn J.

Ughhhh this place sucks! It has a good view of the beach and that's it! The food is overpriced and mediocre. The drinks are weak and the bartenders are slow. You are better off going somewhere else. Will never spend my money here again!! Oh and if you are black and sit at the bar be prepared to wait a longgggg time for service.....

We stumped upon this place during our search for seafood joints in the west side of PCB. They got a wooden shack décor on the outside and the inside was strangely divided in two sections. There is also a gift shop that sells gifts with the restaurant logo on it, but I do not recall this place being a landmark of some sort. They got a deck seating area for beach view, but it was dark and cold, and we got seated at the bar area somehow. It was very loud. The menu was big, and I ended up getting the Seafood Platter with onion rings on side. It came with a mediocre salad. Everything was deep-fried on the platter. The best item on the platter was the fried Grouper, the fish still tasted fresh and juicy inside despite the frying. The crab claw was stuffed with something mushy inside. The oyster, scallop, and shrimp were all a little too dried in the inside. The onion rings tasted a bit old. Sharky is not a bad place to eat with the view and all, and the service was ok for the night. If you only care about the food, there are definitely better seafood restaurants in the area.

I ate here when my boyfriend and I were on vacation and it was really good! Its right on the beach and they always have something going on there. There is a good variety of seafood and the drinks are amazing. The drinks come in big souvenir cups.

Food sucked, waiter spilled soda all over my iPhone without even apologizing, waiter did not pay much attention to his table, and on top of all of that the bill for 6 people with just entrees cost near $200. On another note; good music, great view, and decent drinks. It all just depends on what you're looking for. It seems like a very fun place to grab some drinks and hang out with friends, not such a great place to get dinner or good seafood.

Everyone should eat here once.. It has a beach playground for the kids and neat seating but food is bland

Worst seafood experience ever. And this place is right on the beach! C'mon! The food wasn't the only intolerable act - the service was just short of catastrophic. Now this was my first restaurant I ate at on my week long vacation - you can imagine I had high hopes. I understand service can be slower on such an extremely busy weekend evening - but slow service wasn't the problem. The orders were wrong, the waitress (Susan I believe) was just rude about the entire experience and didn't seem to be bothered at all by the fact that NO one was satisfied. The part that infuriated us most was our individual checks had gratuity included on each! Horrible! I sent my food back! What makes you think i was pleased in the least? That's the only way to get tipped when your service and food suck I suppose.... Don't go here. There are plenty more restaurants in the area.

The only thing this place has going for itself was the decor, the water bottle size mixed drinks and some of their oysters. The food (pix posted) was just overly Cooked and to me was not edible. My BF and i ordered an oyster sampler. At first the table runner brought out the wrong tray of oyster, which were all crab. We didnt catch this at first so we ate 2 of them already and than we realized it was the wrong order. I called the waitress over and she was polite and kind about it and said well if u want it u can keep it, in the meantime she ran back and found our original oyster sampler order. She did not charge us for the runners mistake. I really enjoyed the Rockafeller oyster but the crab oyster tasted to fishy and the other oyster with cheese and bacon was good. But i wouldnt order that one again. The entrees: (pix posted). I ordered the Mahi Mahi Imperial and when it same out i could smell the fish and the steamed broccoli was 1/2 green 1/2 yellow. I put a scallop in my mouth and i forced that down and than sucked a lemon right away cuz that fish taste was so potent. I brushed all that aside and tried the fish. The fish was so dry that nothing flaked off like properly cooked fish should. My BF had the seafood platter, all fried food (oyster, grouper, shrimps & scallops) he didnt not enjoy it. Everything all tasted the same, being all fried food not one had a distinct flavor. For the price of both entrees, it was def NOT worth it. Go to Dustys for good fresh seafood (mainly oysters). Would i ever go back to Sharkys? Id have to say yes only because its right nxt to the hotel we normally stay at and its walkable with a toddler in toe. But if i got anything it would have to b a boring old house salad with ranch dressing, beside the oysters that was the only edible thing we had.

We loved this place. The atmosphere is amazing. Being able to eat out in the deck with a view of the beach is indescribable. I had the Hawaiian chicken, and it was delicious. My husband had a seafood platter that was yummy as well. We had the land shark appetizer and it was great as well. There was a photographer who came by and took pics of our girls in front of the sunset. No obligation to buy, you view the pictures at the gift shop and then decide. Would definitely go back!

I liked Sharky's a lot. This is a pretty cool place to hang out on the beach. The huge tiki bar is awesome. I wasn't wowed by the menu just because it had your typical items that most other restaurants have. All the food we had was very good though. I had a dinner salad that was huge! And the wings were very good. We also had a couple frozen drinks that were good. Check it out its worth your time especially if your doing the beach that day. Also worth noting is that I believe you can leave your tab open and head down and spend time on the beach. I'm not sure if all the other beach bars alow this.

Worst food I have ever tasted. I have been several times and the food has been just terrible. The staff is friendly, but that's the best feature. I thought it might have just been one bad menu item, but, I was wrong. Everything I tasted was just down right BAD. Overpriced slime on a shingle. Save your money and time!

Ordered the Raw Oysters, staff only brought out half of them had to remind them it was a dozen. Should have just kept the 6...they weren't great. Weren't washed properly and most were gritty. Mother in-law had the ribs that were far too tough. Drinks were poured very stiff, guess that's good or bad whatever way you take it. Shrimp was great. Lighting in this place was terrible on the patio at night, had to use cell phone to see the menu. Waitress was great through, very attentive, would have been a 2 star visit if not for her.

When you walk in awesome!! The view and vibes are great. (If you're a red neck!) But when I sat down I waited almost 20 minutes before we were greeted by my waiter who then took our order and came back 45 mins later literally... She flirted with the guys in front of us and didn't even ask if we were good. The drinks were sugar water. Seriously go somewhere else Dirty dicks was great and the restraunts next to it was awesome at pier mall area.

Beachfront patio was amazing with a nice breeze. Large variety of frozen drink flavors and drink options. Seafood platter was great. I have tried my husband's shrimp every time he orders and I have never liked it because of the chewy overcooked texture, however sharky's I loved. The shrimp was cooked perfectly! The wait staff was bland and had no personality.

Daytime folks are good. Do not go there for the night bartenders! We went tonight at 10 pm and the bartenders - a brunette with a baseball hat on and an oblivious blonde - ignored us for 20 minutes while we tried to get their attention to just at least order drinks. Nothing. Then the brunette bartender started yelling and cursing and dropping the F bomb and yelling about how she's one bad b*tch and offending the bar, including young children. We got up and walked out and found a manager, a grey haired gentleman, who couldnt care less. He referred us to another restaurant. They were horrible and while we always look forward to going there when we're in town, our family and friends and I won't ever return. :-(

It was a nice place but a long wait we ordered the fried pickles which I thought were great! They had karaoke which was fun to listen to but hard to hear because we sat inside. My meal was not great I got the fried shrimp tacos and it just made me feel sick. My family likes there meals though. The service was okay.

Nothing special besides view. Mmm, ok to good, but somewhat overpriced for the quality. Great location on beach. Service was very good. No problems there. Ordered some of the early birds. Son had fish and chips. Very watery, bland. Long john silvers was better. Was told the oysters were giants from Texas. Decent sized, but not anything special. Boiled shrimp was good, nothing special. Specialty drinks were mmm, ok. nothing special. Smoked tuna dip same. Basically, you see that pattern. Found out that Runaway Island is their upscale sister restaurant. Would recommend you go there instead. I might be back just to get a cheaper drink refill with my cup.

The atmosphere was fun and great for all ages.Live music and a great patio with a nice view of the ocean . Amy was our waitress she did a fantastic job and was very nice . The food also exceeded my expectations from reading other reviews . Backed tuna dip was great and so was the platter with crab legs ,shrimp, grouper , house puppies crab cakes and a side so much food we shared it and had some left over.

Our server Harry was the BEST!!!!!!! It was crazy busy, but he never missed a beat. He was great answering all of our (many) questions even though he was very busy. His recommendations were spot on. He anticipated our needs and got us refills before we asked! It was worth the wait. Great bartenders and live music. Very pretty view. The Grouper and crab legs were so tasty! We were told ahead of time that there was a 45 minute wait for our party of 5, and that was accurate. Harry also informed us that the food would take 15-20 minutes because they were so busy and that was accurate as well. Eating out while on vacation can be a hot mess, but Sharky's staff certainly had their stuff together!!! Thanks for a really fun evening. We will definitely return when we are visiting again!

So my friends are visiting PCB and they want to eat at Sharkey's because it is right on the beach. I tell them the last time I was there the food was pretty bad. They don't care, They want to eat on the beach. Sharkey's did not disappoint. The food was awful. So go have a beer and enjoy the beach bar, but eat somewhere else. Not even worthy of a star

Food and view was amazing! We had encountered several "duds" so was skeptical of this highly popular tourist place. However- i think it rivals to be a favorite. We got there at 4:30 and was able to request a beach side booth. We sat right beside the kids playground. I ordered the mahi mango salad and it was INCREDIBLE. husband got the Diablo burger and it was hot, hot, hot. Not for the faint of heart but it was yummy. Kids finished early and we were able to sit and watch them play on the boat playground from our seat. Wonderful breeze, great service and I highly recommend it!!

  • Josh L.

Awesome atmosphere. Esp around the bar area, not alot of kids which is clutch. Live music, quick bartenders and service. Beach view, can't get any better!! Food is good too, Oysters were on point.

  • David F.

Nice view and atmosphere. The food was just blah. Shark bite appetizer had no flavor. Shrimp was about the same. Not sure what that cocktail sauce was. Never had anything called cocktail sauce that ever resembled what I was served. What a waste of a great location.

  • Dane P.

The food was way over salted! I chose the fish tacos and the chef must have dumped the entire salt shaker on my plate. Wasn't just my meal, my wife and kids were very salty as well! Disgusting! On top of the subpar food, the waiter was not attentive, did not get our order right, and was always missing. We will not ever return to this restaurant.

****DO NOT GO HERE!!!!**** Don't let the nice oceanfront view fool you. We are from Texas and while on vacation wanted some good seafood..well this place is not it! The food ia waaaay overpriced and was horroble. Our bill was over 100 dollars and it was a complete disappointment and a waste! we ordered crab legs and a seafood platter. I'm surprised they are still in business. The waitress was slow and lazy. Absolute worse meal I have ever had! I would rather have had Long John Silver's or Captain D's than this!!! Couldnt wait to go back home to eat at Pappadeux or Razoos! please take my word and do not waste your money. When I complained to the manager all he said was sorry and that's it! ugh!! Will never go to an oceanfront restaurant without reading the reviews!!!!

We went to Sharky's because kids eat free when you book through Seahaven. Just note kids only eat free once. Even with our boys ate for free our tickets was 51 dollars. It was a little pricey for me but my Grouper sandwich was good and the beach view was great.

  • Nicole K.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend and wasn't disappointed. We ordered and shared the shark snack (sampler platter-$16) and the other platter w shrimp, fish, clams, hush puppies and fries $24. Both were delicious! Drinks were 24oz and $12 each w $8 refills. Those were also strong and delicious. Our waitress was great and there was no wait to get a table when we arrived. And the view is AMAZING. Would definitely return.

A little more expensive than some of the local hangouts with similar quality of food but you are paying for a view here too and it was spectacular. Our server led me in the right direction by recommending the Redfish Antigua. It was blackened perfectly and paired well served over garlic mashed potatoes. Surprisingly scrumptious!

  • Jayden H.

very impressed. went a few days ago so it wasn't that crowded and service was fast and attentive. ordered the shrimp and chicken tender combo basket for $15. I was expecting a few shrimps here and there, but I got about 15 fried popcorn shrimp, 4 chicken tenders, fries, and 2 hush puppies. was not expecting so much food for $15 - didn't even finish half of it. everything was hot and fresh. I will definitely be back.

Got the beef tacos. They were so greasy I could not eat them. Did get it taken off the ticket.

  • Bill C.

This place is definitely a tourist trap... over priced, slow service, and so-so food. The only redeeming quality is a huge tiki bar and deck right on the Gulf... so the view is pretty good. Our waiter was very slow, even though it was the offseason and the place was far from busy. We got drinks in the huge touristy souvenir cups... they were good, but not really worth the price. Also had the tuna dip... it was pretty good, but not enough chips to go with it. All in all I'd probably skip this place.

Oysters and shrimp tacos were great. Scenic spot on beach. Parking lot small but additional nearby.

On my last evening in PCB I chose Sharkys because of it's location. Ended up sitting right next to the beach on a beautiful evening with a fantastic breeze. The blackened Redfish was delicious! Service friendly and prompt. Great place to hang outside for dinner!

I don't know how they do it in Florida but in Texas we do everything BIG and with FLAVOR! This place's food was god awful; the drinks (as in liquor) weren't even good. If I'm paying a pretty hefty price for jumbo shrimp, I expect them to be big and MORE than 5! Don't even get me started on the flavorless fish-shrimp tacos. Lemon couldn't save them, just bland bland bland. I don't understand how they're in a beach town with subpar seafood SMDH! The only thing good about this place, it was right across the street, walking distance, from the hotel we were staying at. IF, and that's a big if, we ever come back to PCB, we won't ever be back. No, thank you!

5 stars for the friendly staff and extremely competent waiter we had during our visit on Thursday night. After our apps and dinnerware delivered together, he comped out apps without us even having to complain. The frisbee plates for the kids were a nice touch, and the food, while not exactly inspiring, was delicious and comforting.

  • Ginny R.

Run the other way and don't look back!! Unless you just want to have drinks and karaoke. That was fun. Food was horrible. Burgers looked like hockey pucks, my mahi mahi was the worst fish I've eaten in my life. Super hard and dry. It's a very nice ambience because it's on the beachside , and I almost went away because I read it was a tourist trap. It sure is... Go to Dusty's instead and have a grouper or their excellent oysters !

  • Laurel N.

"Mr. Bill" the manager needs to be FIRED. We ordered from our very sweet waiter Brian who was more than accommodating. We were brought our appetizers AND meal at the same time. We asked to please eat our apps first. Another server brought our food again within 3 minutes and we declined again. Within 2 more minutes another man who turns out to be Mr. Bill the manager brought our food AGAIN and when we asked to wait AGAIN he told us to eat it now or eat it cold. IS THIS REALLY HOW YOU SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS? We left and I am actively looking for a corporate or owner phone number. DO NOT EAT HERE. Threats are no way to treat a paying customer who simply wanted to eat an appetizer before their meal. This man does not deserve his job at all. Whomever owns this restaurant should be embarrassed by his representation of their business.

  • Dorothy B.

We had the fish tacos, fish and shrimp basket and shrimp Alfredo for the children. I'd give the food a three stars. I think it tasted like any other restaurant on the beach. But I decided to give four stars because in the back you have a beautiful view of the beach, fresh air and you can watch the people playing or walking on the beach! Plus, there a little playground in the sand on the right hand side of Sharky's. If you sit on the right hand side looking at the beach your kids can play while you sit at the table, eat and have a conversation instead of having to watch the children. Great for moms!!!!

  • Jeff O.

We went there for dinner. I got the seafood platter wife got Mahi and tasted like cheap bar food. I got a rum and coke and it was way too strong. They charged us $63 for that and we have eaten other places for half the price. We come here a lot and we will never eat here again. Steer clear of this place

    (1)
  • Jack S.

Lousy, overpriced food. I ordered their $13.00 burger medium rare - got an overcooked hockey puck. If you can't cook a burger, you shouldn't serve food! When I brought this to our waitress's attention, she explained that they were slow but got really busy????? What a joke!

  • El E.

This is a great vacation food & drink stop. They had live entertainment outside by the tiki bar. The singer was hilarious and great. The appetizers were fillig so we only only scratched at te main course. All-in-all this place has a beachy atmosphere with good food, cold drinks, good service, and excellent entertainment.

    (4)
  • MichaelandShannon T.

The service was good but the food left a lot to be desired!!! Started with oysters and they did not seem to be fresh. Main course did not take long to get but it just lacked flavor.

    (2)
  • Adam H.

The only thing we enjoyed here was the breeze off of the ocean and the live entertainment a.k.a. karaoke. I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were well seasoned and well cooked. The grits had a strange flavor and the sauce was definitely not my cup of tea. My wife ordered the fish tacos which were presented as two soft tacos alone on a plate. When she questioned the waiter about it he mumbled something about bean sauce on the tacos. He then took her plate back and returned some time later with the same tacos accompanied by pico, lettuce, and sour cream. My son ordered the ribs which he ate with no complaints. My daughter had the popcorn ahrimp. She tried one and then refused to eat any more which may just be related to her being a "grazer" as opposed to a 3 square meal a day type of eater. In summary, the atmosphere was as expected however the food came up rather short of expectations in my opinion.

  • Haley L.

We went at around noon, so it wasn't very crowded. We ordered the seafood baskets and really enjoyed them! The food tastes fresh and you really get a bang for your buck (we had a whole meal left over). Overall, a very good experience, and if you're not into long waits opt for lunch instead of dinner here.

  • Tracey J.

They were rude and threw my foos and the manager thought it waa ok because I did feel like she needed a tip! Would never go there again amd wish for the owner to call me

Fantastic! We had tried Runaway Island a few nights before this. They had such amazing food and great atmosphere, so we decided to try this out since it's the same owners. We shared the Keys platter ($39.95) and were both satisfied. We ordered side salads, veggies, and gouda grits....which are to die for! Highly recommend this place!

    (5)
  • Lauren H.

The atmosphere was great but the food sucks! We got raw oysters.. Looked like they were put in a blender. All the fried food was soggy and terrible... I don't really understand how you mess up fried food that was previously frozen. It was a Monday night around 8pm so it wasn't crazy busy either. Our tab for 7 people was $200 and no one had a good meal. Their sister restaurant Runaway Island was SO much better and I would choose to eat there everyday over Sharkys... Very disappointed.

  • Brian W.

I'd eaten at Sharky's on an earlier trip to Panama City so I thought I would try it again. The food was fine. It was nothing really exciting or ground breaking. I had the ribs and my wife had the Grouper sandwich. She wasn't very happy with her choice. Once again, the ribs were ok. You go to a place like Sharky's for the atmosphere. There was pretty good live music and a nice view of the beach. I would recommend it for a nice sunset drink and appetizers with good friends and family.

  • Kelly B.

We were here three years ago and had an amazing meal. This year what a disappointment. Raw oysters were gritty, and our meals did not reflect what was on the menu-they just substituted where they saw fit. Our drinks clearly had cheap liquor in them but we were charged like they were top shelf. Never again...

    (1)
  • Terri W.

My second visit was not as good as the first. Service was very slow and the food wasn't good. My sandwich was like warm at best, dry, and the cheese on top not even melted. We will not return again.

Nice place, at 1st I said first available seating was fine and the room we was in on the inside was good well a little hot and well there was a band on the outside so I walked up to the check I. Stand and said "I would like to sit outside and I have all ready ordered my drinks, can we move?" They said "not a problem we have a table outside in the deck just follow me!" Very nice and we moved to a better location for us. And crab cakes with Gouda grits and the shrimp was good and the drinks where on point! 4 stars mostly cause of the service.

Waited an age to be seated but it was well worth it. 1lb of steamed crab with fries & butter - A-ma-zing!!!

  • Carol G.

This is a great place for really good traditional beach fare. The smoked tuna dip is delish and loved the fried pickles. The shrimp and mahi were great! The best part was the service! Our server made sure our drinks were full and made sure our dinners were perfect! We will be back

    (5)
  • Cece M.

We got there after sunset and there was no wait. The place is physically huge but our service was still good. We got crab legs, a spicy shrimp and rice bean dish and shrimp Alfredo. Everything was good except the pasta which even with blackened shrimp was still really bland. We usually make a stop here on vacation and will be back.

    (4)
  • Brad B.

Came here the end of June with a 8 person group and the only thing worse than the food were the prices. Morton fish sticks with pre-packaged tarter sauce. Embarrassing for a "Florida seafood" restaurant. On a positive note, the live entertainment was good and you can't beat the view.

    (1)
  • Ali C.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. The only thing I can complain about is that our seats were very uncomfortable and we felt like we were on the spot. They were seats that were higher up. We got the fried seafood platter with double shrimp instead of clams and it was excellent. The rolls with butter were phenomenal too. Our server was Amy and she had some tattoos. She was fantastic and on the ball. We were staying at the Legacy so we just walked because parking would've been pointless plus it was packed. But the music and the beach breeze felt so right. It's definitely a place for families or just a few friends. We really enjoyed ourselves. Amy was literally the only nice person we met in PCB. Also, it took two days for it to even show up on my bank statement so watch for that. It didn't even say it was pending. It might've just been my bank, but it's worth mentioning.

Food was just there, service was ok and some of the staff were rude not only the hostess but also some waiters. Will never go back!!!

Pleasant surprise. We didn't expect this place be as good as it was. We went right at the start of the normal dinner rush and requested beach front seating. We were seated within about 30 mins. We ordered chips and queso which was good. I had the burger and it was pretty good. My wife had grilled shrimp with alfredo. The shrimp were awesome!! Our server was good as well.

    (4)
  • Jeff S.

It's all about the view, for sure, cause there's not much to be said about the menu. The deck is literally on the beach. A nice sunny day and there was plenty to look at. Curiously, the menu lacks the local flavor...fish. Grouper is only available frien and any other fish dishes are tilapia. The server didn't know if the fish was fresh. I got a hamburger, served well done, but not by request. Closest thing to pink was the mix of catchup with char. The side do veggies were squash that seemed second (or third) reheating. Service was fair. Took a long time to get our meals, especially considering the place was only half full. I'm sure this place does a great business given location and lots of college kids. If you want a great meal in PCB, look elsewhere. If it's beer and a view on a nice day, don't go any further.

    (1)
  • Mark L.

Cold grilled shrimp and so so oysters. Slow service as well. Not impressed! Not sure if they had ttroubles in the kitchen but the waiter would gone like 15 minutes at a time, never update us on our food, and didn't really care if we were waiting very long or not. it appeared to be the same issue at a lot of tables and some people just walked out. Sharky's is a tourist trap that charges too much for very little!!

    (1)
  • Trey P.

Last minute decision for nye drinks. The location is fine and the drinks are fun (stick with shark attack), downsides are the outside was mostly closed due to construction and the one man band not the greatest (four song pink floyd melody can bring down the bar). Didn't try the food but if your just drinking this place will do.

    (3)
  • Toni A.

For the prices, it would have been nice to get a salad with the meal. I had the blackened shrimp with Gouda cheese grits. My mother had the crab cakes with the garlic mashed potatoes. They DID NOT lie when they said the crab cakes had more crab than breading. And they were excellent. The shrimp were delicious and the grits were a huge surprise. Very yummy! The mashed potatoes were a bit on the cold side but still good. I could do without the biker bar atmosphere, but everyone was friendly and it only bothered my old mother. I ride bikes.

  • Amanda W.

Wasn't too impressed with this place. The atmosphere was good and it being right on the beach was good, and the drinks were good. Food wasn't all that great. I ordered the fish tacos, not impressed, they just tasted like I was eating dirt.. The salsa I ordered, let's just say, I didn't want to go to a restaurant and eat Old El Paso salsa, lol. If I ever come back here, it will only be drinks that's for sure.

Total tourist trap, beautifully and awesomely done. I mean, let's face it. Tourist traps are fantastic if you're a tourist, looking for a fun restaurant with a great ocean view, yummy boozy drinks, good food and a party atmosphere, and Sharky's delivers on all counts. The live music was super entertaining but not invasive. The deck is right on the beach with an amazing view. The drinks are delicious and the food is good, too. Was it the best meal I've ever had? No. Did I have an amazing time? For sure. The cheese grits were yummy. The grouper was fantastic - perfectly cooked. My daughter loved the chicken wings, and my mother in law had some yummy fish tacos. We all loved our meal and left there looking forward to coming back the next time we're in the area.

This smoked tuna dip was awesome! It is served with jalapeños and tortilla chips. The mahi salad was pretty good. Service was good, not great but good. The view from the patio was the best part- right on the beach!

Super cute beach place. Nice outdoor seating. Always friendly service. Had Thanksgiving brunch here-was great. Also went in April a couple of times. Spring Break drunks a little annoying but still had good service and a fun time with our kids. Good is just beach bar food but tastes fresh

  • Curtis K.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Pros: live music was good, wait on a Friday night wasn't too long and the bar was large enough to hang out at before eating. Right on the beach, located across the street from where we stayed. Cons: our server was pretty lame and unhelpful. The bar had 4 beers on tap: coors light, miller lite, bud light, corona light. The souvenir cup they sell is $13, refills are $8 and everything you can put in it tastes gross and weak. Food was okay... Definitely overpriced for what you get, even for being on the strip. There are other, better options nearby. Only come here if you don't feel like driving a couple miles to a better place.

The fried oysters were supreme. Appetizer of fried pickles was good. Outside with view of ocean was wonderful and relaxing!

Ok so last year me and my husband came down with his girls for family vacation. My first time to PCB and this place they raved about. It was absolutely the worst place ever. I swore to never go back but this year me and my husband decided to try again. They have completely changed my mind!!! I got the grouper with the crawfish sauce and it was phenomenal. My husband got the shrimp and grits and they were big and juicy and the grits were good but not as great as pineapple willys the night before. This place is cheaper than most in the area and have beautiful outdoor seating. We will definitely come back!

The food that I ordered was wildly mediocre at best. I ordered the crab cake entree with a side of steamed vegetables. The meal came with two tiny crab cakes carelessly tossed onto the plate. Alongside the sad looking crab cakes was an even sadder bowl of steamed vegetables. The bowl was filled entirely with water and the veggies were extremely mushy and unappetizing. And to top it all off, my meal was 24 dollars! I'd pay 24 dollars for a good seafood meal but that just wasn't worth the money. I will not be coming back.

VERY disappointed in the crab legs. Had very little taste and some were dingy in color/appeared old. Waitress barely checked on us. Had to convince hubby to go there. Regret that decision. (Crab legs at Runaway Island just down the street were AWESOME and CHEAPER!!).

A good place to go if you like seafood. I don't so food choice was limited for me. I was disappointed that I couldn't get a good daiquiri. I liked that it was on the beach and had live music. My kids loved the place and already saying they want to go back

We've been there 3 times. We go there every time we come into town. Fun atmosphere, good bands, good drinks ...always a fun time.

The crab legs were not good at all and they had these brown rubbery spots on them. The grouper blackened was good and the Gouda cheese grits were a unique taste. I thought it to be a little pricey for the quality however the pirate ship playground earned a star of its own. My kid loved it

Tourist friendly spot. The best part is the view being right on the beach. Most of the restaurant is open air as well so you can enjoy the nice weather when available but they also have indoor seating. The food and drinks are a little disappointing especially for how much they cost. We mostly munched on appetizers, the smoked tuna dip was tasty and had an interesting flavor but the chips were so flimsy they broke each time, we had to spread the dip onto the chip. The shrimp basket was great, nice flavoring. Also had the hot wings, and ya, they're hot wings at a place on the beach so they're as good as expected. The rating would be lower but the wait staff was outstanding, very friendly, very helpful and didn't disappear. There are worse places you could go, but better as well.

After 27 years of coming to PCB I decided to try Sharky's. Well I should've stayed away, average tasting food, below average portions, & above average prices. The only thing that was good about sharky's is the fact that you sit in the open on the beach. I won't be coming back.

Really loved the crab claws and the view of the beach! The gumbo and chowder were also excellent. The beach view alone Is worth the stop for a cocktail and crab claws!

Good atmosphere and location. Server was friendly but a little annoying. The food was very average. And way over priced for the quality. A dozen oysters was $13 and were small. Caesar Salad was a blend of romaine and iceberg lettuce, and the dressing nothing special. The blackened shrimp were awful. Tasted like sweet barbecue. Draft beer is not bad @ $3.50/pint. But watch out for the mixed drinks. They don't put a price on the menu for a reason. My wife's drink which the waiter raved about was $13. Yeah no wonder he loved it. Total bill for appetizers, drinks and meals was $75 before the tip. Will definitely not be going back.

Hubby's Bday dinner and he was happy! Therefore, I was happy. Again, another place on the beach with the same awesome view of the beach. I can't go wrong and I will always love that view. Great Music, atmosphere, pet friendly. This place is a seafood restaurant. For those non seafood eaters, there is chicken, steak, and ribs. Hubby had steak and I had crab legs. It came with one side. The Baby potatoes are soo good. Both of our orders made us happy. It was a splurge for dinner for us since we are usually bargain shopping but it was worth it.

Ate at Sharky's during a Warrior Beach Retreat. Blackened grouper sandwich was delicious. I could feel the flavor explode inside my mouth as the thick fish steak fell apart. The carribean slaw was refreshing. The slaw was coarse cut with a light dressing. The service was prompt and courteous. The location on the beach is fantastic and remains my lasting memory from my first visit over 13 years ago. The reasonable prices, good service, and fantastic location combine to make Sharky's a five star rating.

cool place, had karaoke and a great atmosphere. kids shrimp and chicken were good, as was the shrimp plate (one grilled and one fried, both good). also had the shrimp and grits with grilled shrimp, and it was very good. comes with a type of creme sauce that makes it unique and tasty. there is a playground area outside the outdoor seating areas for the kiddos (or adults!) to pass the time until dinner, which was *very* handy. the views from the outdoor area were fantastic, too. server was polite, personable, and very accommodating. had a great time and would definitely go back!

The view was great and the service was good. The waiter didn't ask my husband if he wanted a souvenir bushwacker or just a regular one, he just brought him the souvenir cup and it was like $12 for the drink!! The food was also pricey for the amount you got... The grits were interesting, good, but not amazing.

Fun spot to hang while at the beach on a cloudy day! I'm kinda a beer snob and wish there was more beer to choose from (but I found Fishale Taphouse which satisfied that craving!) The Shark Attack is really good! I would defiantly recommend having it over the other drink selections! The food was pretty pricy (which is why I end up at Hunt's Oyster House. $6 dozen of the best oysters ever!). We ordered an appetizer called the Land Shark. It had mozzarella sticks, fried pickles (i think), and these awesome balls that are fried with cheese, broccoli, corn and bacon inside. I would def just get those ball things next time and skip the rest. We went about 4 times for drinks (we were staying next door at seahaven) Karaoke was entertaining!

Sharkys is a legendary beach spot! This review is not so much for the food but rather for the fun people and atmosphere. Service wasn't all that.

Came here our last night on vacation. My son's choice because of the Great White hanging out front. Parked across the street bu no biggie because they had a shuttle service. We had a bit of a wait but we needed the time to take our family photos with an ocean backdrop. Actual wait time was shorter than they anticipated. Service was good. Food was average but still better than anything you can find back home. Ww will definately come back again. The highlight of the visit was when we left and got on the shuttle. The driver asked if they gave us enough to eat. I simply replied"They didn't give us anything. We had to pay for it." He got a real kick out of that and said he will have to remember that one.

Great view, okay food, great bartenders Peter and Robert. Excellent server for this type of restaurant. (Jake.)

The food was terrible... And the service was even worse! I ordered the only chicken dish on the menu and it was dry. The toppings had a stale water taste to them. So did all of the drinks I had (I ordered pink lemonade, then a sprite and both were disgusting). To top it off, our server was crappy! He kept forgetting about out table, forgot to bring two of us drinks (we were in a large party) and didn't bring silverware!!! How are we supposed to eat with no silverware? Call me stuck up if you want, but in a restaurant I shouldn't have to ask for utensils to eat with. I'll NEVER eat here again as a Panama City resident.

We had yet Another great gulf side view of the sunset! Sharky's is one of the open-air sticky-table restaurants on the beach that we love while in pcb. The kids enjoyed the playscape on the beach while we were waiting for our food too. Now onto the food. . . My husband and I shared the firecracker shrimp salad (which was very good- fried little shrimp tossed in a great tasting dressing and loaded with other great salad fixings) and the fried shrimp dinner. The shrimp in the dinner were ok, but for $17, I wasn't overly excited about them. The baby bakers (steamed small potatoes) we got as a side were very tasty though. My dad got french fries with his burger - his usual as a non-seafood eater- and said the burger was fine, but the fries elsewhere were much better this week at other local places. Mom enjoyed the grilled fish tacos, but said she would pass on the onion rings next time- just too soggy.

First off, the primary appeal of Sharky's is it's location: Beachfront. The food is above average beach food, they have the standard seafood but also non-seafood items. I had the Grecian Shrimp which was quite good and filling. What was quite impressive was how well they handled our large (60+!) party. They didn't get checks mixed up and still had great service for a location in a tourist area.

Place is overrated.Yes they serve you gigantic drinks (mostly sugar though..) but the food is subpar and overpriced. The pros were the bar area where they had some great live music for a sunday night. They are also one of the few restaurants in the area where you can actually eat on the beach.

As a broke college kid and on spring break, there's no better spot in Panama City Beach to go get shit-faced-soon-to-be-a-baby-daddy drunk than this bar. This was the first spot I hit up on my first spring break night. This was the first spot where I learned that college girls are DIRTY AS HELL. This should be a goddam landmark!

As locals, we eat here about once a month... We sometimes get the beach burger, which we've never had a bad burger. The fries are usually cold, but with the gulf breeze, hot food is difficult. The fish tacos are usually wonderful, but I've had a few bad attempts that were returned. It can be a bit inconsistent. The oysters are way overpriced. but when we go in with an expense account, we splurge and the jalapeño baked oysters are pretty good. Nothing beats the view and the sunsets are fantastic. Kids are entertained with the pirate ship and their dinner is served on a frisbee:-) The price is reasonable and they don't try to be what they're not... It's a beachfront bar and grill. Not a 'gourmet' restaurant. It's locally owned. Service can be slow, but really, your on vacation!! Relax and enjoy! The tiki bar is great, esp during football season. There is usually live entertainment every night.

One of my favorite places in PCB. We went last week of July. Drinks are always good. Service was excellent. Best grouper sandwich of my life and the peel and eat shrimp is very flavorful! With a view of the beach you cannot go wrong with this place. The only thing that sucks is they share a parking lot and it's hard to find a spot sometimes.

Tourist gimmick. Has a nice covered deck area right on the sand and had karaoke on the Monday night we went. That was the end of the positives. Blackened shrimp tacos were waaaay took salty to eat. Gumbo had maybe a pan scraping of rice with it and was luke warm. Lobster balls are $14 hush puppies. Not a nibble of lobster in them and kind of small. Grouper sandwich was a small piece of fish on a bun with fries for $18 and was mediocre. The sandwich and burger came on dense buns. The waiting area out front smelled like sewage and some other funk. Guess it would be hard to clean the deck and whatever gets spilled and dropped through the cracks. Had a guy dressed up in a fuzzy shark costume walking around in the restaurant like Disney world. Cool if you like that stuff. Had a guy walking around taking pictures you can buy out front like six flags. Had a guy out front catching you as you leave trying to sell time shares or something like Vegas. I would not have gone in to eat after the smell out front but I was with a group and the gimmicks had sucked in my kids to the point of no return. Save your money. Far better food and experiences elsewhere.

A huge tourist trap. Have the concept of a beach restaurant/bar but so gross. The bathrooms were disgusting with stalls that lack a lock on the door. Our server took a good 15min before coming to our table to even take our drink orders. Within the 15min there were at least 7staffs that had walked past us. With three just ignoring our calls. Don't even try the seafood nachos. They are shrimps, scallops, and fish that were "simmered" in the cheese sauce. What I got was chips smothered in lettuce, tomato, and cheese sauce. I think we got a total of 5 shrimp and one fake scallop and no fish. I should have known this is not a place to have oysters but in high hopes that oysters in Florida can't go wrong. Nope. Big wrong. The nastiest oysters I have ever gotten. With grime all over it. I can't imagine a restaurant that would dare to serve that to a customer.

So I came in with some friends and even though the food and drinks were amazing, the service was awful. It wasn't even busy but our food took over 40 minutes. We saw 3 tables come, eat and leave before we even had our food and it was just 3 adults, 1 child and we ordered fish tacos, chicken Caesar salad, shrimp Po boy and a kid grilled cheese. We even had to flag our server down to figure out what was taking so long. And as a server, that aggravates me so much. But like I said, the drinks and food was exceptional.

Really enjoyed our visit to Sharkey's. Very busy for dinner, so be prepared to wait. We had an excellent waitress who was super friendly. The oysters are super fresh and of good size- when we went raw were only $14 a dozen- great price! We are not typically nacho people, but got the seafood nachos and they were so delicious! Lots of shrimp and scallops and a great cheese sauce.

Excellent view and atmosphere, we had the Shark Bites (Grouper) they were delicious and cooked just right. Also had the Jamaican Jerk wings...cooked nice and crispy with no breading and the flavor was perfect..not too spicy, but enough to really enjoy all the flavors. Had some mixed drinks, excellent pinapple flavor in the Upside down drink.. I recommend it for a quick stop and relaxing spot.

I'mThe food here is expensive and not worth the price. We went on Friday for dinner and it was a huge mistake. They had a guy singing (see video) and he was AWFUL. I had fried shrimp ($19) and mashed potatoes, neither were worth $19. My boyfriend had Red Fish Antigua and it wasn't worth the price for it either. Just skip this place, it's very touristy and overrated, and go somewhere else.

Absolutely my favorite bar in PCB. The atmosphere is great and the drink prices are competitive to any other place in town. I recommend going to Sharky's Beach Bash if you're down for spring break. Every year when I'm down in March I always make it to Sharky's. This place has become a tradition for me and my friends. I cannot speak to the restaurant side of Sharky's because, let's face it, when you're here for spring break the only meals you're interested in consuming at a club come in a can and a plastic cup.

Decent food here but the real draw us the beach side location. This place comes complete with beach playground to keep kids busy while you wait for the food. The wait can be long so this can be very useful.

Had dinner there yesterday. The food was just okay. My major complaint is that I asked for cole slaw instead of fries with my $18 sandwich and was told that it would be an extra $3 because the kitchen doesn't like substitutions. Really??? Guess the kitchen doesn't like customers?
